It was only for a day and, but I enjoyed it immensely. The festival in question is Lodestar, and local-ish event, near Cambridge. The weather was beautiful and the music was good. I particularly enjoyed the headliner for the day; The Datsuns, and Kill It Kid. It was pretty small, but seeing as I don't particularly like large crowds it wasn't a big deal for me. Kind of felt the same as when I went to see The Red Hot Chili Peppers in Hyde Park a few years ago. I might even go for the whole weekend next year, even though I detest camping.
